Appearance: dark amber/mahogany to brown color with a two finger off white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: rich toffee malts meld with sweet and savory bacon/ham like qualities, lovely level of sweet smoke
Flavor: melds all the prior noted aromas to a sweet, savory, smoky, roasty, toasty and rich conglomeration of pure awesomeness. Finishes meaty to smoky and roasty
Texture: medium to full bodied, sessionable, the way this beer moves across my tongue is like nothing else - that sweet soothing smoky stroll is just practically pure bliss and the word "smooth" barely touches the surface of how to get close enough to describe that "soothing stroll"
Overall: need I say anything else.
This is a "game over" type of beer to me.
