Bourbon Blammo is the bourbon barrel aged version of our massive coconut imperial stout BLAMMO! For the 2025 release we blended five oak barrels: three barrels of stout aged in Savage and Cooke Bourbon barrels for 36 months; one barrel of munichwine aged 28 months in a Buzzard’s Roost Bourbon barrel; and lastly one barrel of barleywine brewed exclusively with Maris Otter that rested for 20 months in a Weller Wheated Bourbon barrel. We then conditioned the blend on over 200 lbs of organic toasted coconut. As always, it is ridiculous!

Dark brown, no head. Dark chocolate and toffee, dates, raisins, sweet dark toffee, lots of coconut, mellow vanilla, very dessert. And big. The 5oz pour does feel like a lot. It also feels like not enough.

Glad I got two of these, just decadent coconut bourbon deliciousness. Boozy and sweet and easy to drink. Dark chocolate galore.
