Bottle 33cl. Black with a lightbrown head. Aroma of vanilla, cholcolate and dried fruits. Sweet with a good warm vanilla and dried fruit end, some wooden barrels. Great!

Tap. Black color with beige head. Aroma is coconut, peanuts, very nutty and pastry. Taste is peanuts, black chocolate, a touch tobacco, pecan. Quite intense, very pastry, but lecker! Oily mouthfeel with fine-bubbled carbonation. Very good!

Bottle (RB No. 1000). Pours opaque black with medium brown head. Aroma is intense vanilla, soy sauce, coffee, chocolate, licorice, rum and oak aged whisky. Taste is light to medium sweet, medium bitter, medium salty and light acrid. Body is creamy with soft carbonation. Finish is intense and long with notes of malt, vanilla, licorice, rum, espresso and prunes. Very intense and rich but in good balance.

Bottle. Close to black color, coffee foam. Taste and aroma: like a gorgeous dessert, a chocolate cake with jam, berries, vanilla, nuts, soaked in maple syrup and cognac.

[As: Omnipollo Yellow Belly Sundae (bourbon)] Bottle @ Van Moll Brewpub shared with Cavemanlawyer. Opaque black color with a very small off-white head to beige head. Aroma is malts, maple, light bourbon, cafe noir. Taste malts, cafe noir again, marzipan, (Dutch) "taai-taai", vanilla, bubble gum. Heavy to get through but ok. Not great though.

Bottle from Beerdome @ home. Black with a large dark brown head. Smells McFlurry, chocolate sauce, chocolate, very sweet, slightly nutty, caramel. Tastes lactose, overly sweet, artificial, chocolate sauce, slightly fruity. I really like the aftertaste, but the main taste or whatever you call it is so chemical. Guess that's what lactose will do to a beer. Hard to rate. Full body, soft carbo.

Bottle. Black with a brown head that settles to a fat coat. You don't need to approach the glass to get the aroma -- chocolate, vanilla, skin on roasted peanuts. At first the peanuts seem very prominent, but on a second sniff they're back behind (not particularly distinguished) vanilla and syrupy caramel. Smooth, full bodied but (surprisingly not syrupy). The additions are there, but yes, there's a roasty stout asserting itself. Some mocha and singed notes really help sweep away the sweetness and focus on the peanuts and vanilla. The bourbon is not obvious (some of the caramel and vanilla/ oak) and there's no overt booze. Is it bitterness that makes the whole thing vanish in the end? Or dark chocolate? Very good for its ilk.

0,33l bottle at home. No BB date. black color, small coffee colored head. smells of vanilla, spices, biscuits, toasted, some peanuts, marzipan, some berry notes. very nice smell. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of berry notes, vanilla, roasty, peppery, bit leathery, earthy, toasted, nutty. finishes lightly sweet but also with some roast bitterness and notes of bitterish vanilla, some berry notes and some nuts. very nice one, but also a bit weird, vanilla is rather strong and more like a bitterish vanilla on this one. has some great berry notes and some great toasty notes. overall still very good one.
