Så og si svart farge med tynt beige skum. Lukter sjokolade, kaffe, vanilje. Fyldig og munnfølelse som fløte. Sødme , salt og sjokolade i ettersmak.

Bourbon, yes. Buttery. Vanilla comes through more, but certainly less peanut. More complex than base, and it could use that.

Bottle at Bar Centro, Barcelona. Dark brown, no head. Very oily, chocolate, bourbon, vanilla, warming, some pecans, dark fruit, some licorice. Opens up as it warms. Low carbonation. Smooth. Full bodied.

Unsurprisingly it’s a good pastry stout but I would have like a deeper roasty bitterness instead of the top of your tongue cocoa powder bitterness and an overall rounder mouthfeel.

330 ml bottle from Etre Gourmet, bb 31/03/2022.
Black, oily body, with a tiny, creamy, coffee-colored head.
Amazing aroma of peanut butter, nuts, milk chocolate, cocoa, dark fruits, subtle bourbon.
Tastes of bourbon, chocolate, nuts, peanut butter, dark fruits, vanilla, alcohol, merges into a dry roastiness, with tobacco, coffee, soy sauce.
Full, oily mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes medium roasty, medium sweet, quite dry, warm, astringent, wooden, nutty, with bourbon, chocolate, vanilla, dark fruits, some tobacco.

Very tasty! The nose is amazing, quite similar to the regular un-barrel aged version, while the taste has more of the booze. Tastes sweet initially, but merges into an interesintg dry roastiness, while in the finish the sweetness comes more through again. Outstanding, expressive stuff.

Bottle shared at home. Black with tan head. Big sweet deep roasted chocolate malts, mild peanut butter, vanilla edge. Big boosted aromas but kind of missing a serious body in the middle of this aromatic violence. Big sweet and over medium bitter. Full body and soft carbonation. Lots of candy coating but not much inside. M&ms. The expectations and fulfillment and disappointment is equal to m&m's. Anyway, rambling, but nothing justifies the price of these beers.

Bottle shared massive thanks to sjogro! Black with light brown film. Roasted nuts, vanilla, roasted barley, blackberries, alcohol, weird bitter peanuts, fudge, sweet cognac, plums, dark coffee. Quite sweet but also with a sharp bitterness and a hint of sourness. Full bodied with soft carbonation and a bit dry finish.
