A tropical take on our classic American IPA; our pineapple IPA packs juicy fruit flavor with bold character. Brewed with loads of pineapple juice and aggressively hopped for big citrus notes.

32oz bottle pours a hazy gold with some fluffy white head. Nose has pale malts and honey, some grass, a little orange peel too, some muddled tropical fruit. Pineapple is more prevalent in the flavor with a clear pineapple juice character, some guava too, malt, grass, biscuit. Finishes mostly dry. Fine.

Hazy golden coloured body with a three centimetre tall off-white head. Very nice pineapple, hop and malt aroma with most of the scents coming from the fruit! Medium-bodied; Strong fruity pineapple sweetness with a great hop kick right afterwards and some smooth malt and alcohol notes with a little grain noticeable. Aftertaste shows a nice blend of pineapple and malt with a little alcohol burn as well. Overall, a great combination of hops and fruit, definitely worth trying if you can find it! Great to sample this before moving onto Hawaii and French Polynesia! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Fair Lakes (Fairfax), Virginia on 02-April-2016 for US$1,99 sampled at my hotel in Buffalo, New York on 07-August-2016 before moving onto Hawaii and then Papeete, Tahiti, French Polynesia where this rating is coming from on 19-August-2016.

Sample at Industry Night at HomeBrewCon. Tropical fruit, pineapple against a nice hoppy ale backbone. Very interesting beer I quite enjoyed this one.
