Draft. Amber-brown beer with an off-white head. Light caramel aroma. Sweet malt and light caramel flavor. Medium bodied. Sweet malt and light caramel linger with very light mineral notes.

12 oz bottle poured into a hard plastic cup at my sister’s wedding. Clear amber with off-white head. Aromas of honey, malt, wheat. Tastes of honey, toffee, light bitterness, syrup. Medium body with a dry finish. Medium-high carbonation. Slightly confusing name with "Honey Brown" being the prominent text on the label. Okay for what it is.

As many times as I’ve had this in my life, I figure what a better day than to say something on this beer. This is coming from my notes.
I’ve had this beer poured into a pint glass and a pilsener at various times in my life and there really isn’t much difference.
The appearance was a nice golden amber to close to a brown color more so in the center. There was a one finger white foamy head that fizzles in about less than thirty seconds and leaves barely any lacing.
The smell had a large amount of roasted caramel malts with a nice nuttiness about it.
The taste was nutty and sweet and combined nicely. There’s a slight nutty aftertaste leading into a decent dry malty finish.
On the palate, it sat at/about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. The carbonation is smooth and clean and inoffensive.
Overall, this is not a bad beer at all, though it seems to have an identity crisis on just about every beer website one looks. For whatever style this beer truly is, its just an all around good beer. Try it, you might be surprised. Oh and I almost love having this beer with a steak.

From bottle to glass. Cereal grain and slightly oxidized. Harsh, husky grain on the aroma. Golden-orange with ivory white head that lingers. Taste is slightly grainy and husky malt with tinge of honey at the end. Thin mouthfeel.

Bottle. A- Caramel, sugar, spices, honey. A- Brown color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Malty, spices, very subtle honey tones. P- Medium body, thin texture, average carbonation, boring finish. O- Could use a lot more honey tones. A lot left to be desired here.

Can split at Dadsgiving, 24/11/13. Clear golden with a moderate off white covering that retains well. Nose is sweet, corn, cereals, brown sugar. Taste comprises caramel, pale malts, grass, cereal, sugar. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp dry closure. Pretty meh!

On tap @ Woodrow, NYC. A clear amber red one with a small islandy off-white top. Smells of caramel malts, red amber Ltd, light sugar sweet and some egg shell's. Bah. Doesn't taste any good either to be honest. Minerals, really sweet. Yeah, I actually get some honey here, but I don't like it. Melon honey melon juice with wood juice. Soft oily with a average carbonation level. Quite boring and a little bit disappointing to be honest. 23.06.2013

24 oz can bought at Albertson’s in CDA, ID. Pours clear new penny copper with a large cream-colored soapy head with decent retention. Aroma initially consists of vomit, doughy bread, metal, and honey, but the offnotes mostly disappear after a couple minutes. I’m also getting a tartness, like berries, in the nose. Taste is honey sweet, but not cloying. Seems a little dirty. Highly carbonated, thin body. This has its flaws, but it’s not too bad. The initial aroma was extremely off-putting, but the nastiness went away for the most part. The honey is nice and it’s drinkable.
