Sour ale with Rhubarb and Lingonberry.
When Americans think of Sweden, two things stand out: Ikea and Swedish Fish. Part of a set of beers with Dugges, this sour ale brings the best of the fruity candy to liquid form.

Bottle courtesy of tkrjukoff. Pours hazy reddish golden with a small offwhite head that leaves some sparse trace in the glass while dissipating. Smell is fruity with crackers, lemon juice, lime juice, lingonberries, rhubarb, sour melon candies, yoghurt, dry soil, minerals and lemon zest. Taste is sour and fruity. Mouthfeel is dry, tart, astringent and light bodied. Finish is sour with crackers, cereal, lemon juice, lime juice, lingonberries, tropical fruits, sour candies, minerals and lemon zest. Heavy sour candy, Ahlgrens sursockrade bilar, presence which is both intriguing and tasty. This doesnβt have as prominent bready doughy malts as other sours from Dugges usually have which is a big plus. --- Beer merged from original tick of Syrligt on 22 Jul 2015 at 18:57 - Score: 8.
