Hazy amber colour, white foam. Nose of citrus, tropical fruit, bitter hops. Taste is fruity, lots of grapefruit, some pine. Very well balanced. Great old school Imperial IPA!

Bottle from Haussmann Getränke, Drink after an Italian steak, a couple bottles of wine, and a few different spirits. Red amber light haze with a small but lasting head. Caramel-honey citrus nose, which follows through on the tongue with a nice powerful lingering but smooth bitterness. It doesn't taste so American IIPA like the hops in the label would indicate, but it's a good clean citrusy IPA. Just a bit too high IBU for my taste.

Bottle. Orange color. Grapefruit, soft herbal notes in the aroma. Medium bodied. Herbal hoppy, sweetish flavor with citrus and a hint of licorice.

500ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey, dark golden colour with huge, thick, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Piney and citrusy, hoppy aroma, caramel malty background, zesty notes of orange, tangerine, kumquat, some lemon, pine, resin. Taste is citrusy, resinous, piney hoppy, sweet-ish, caramel malty backbone, notes of lemon, grapefruit, zesty hints of orange, tangerine, well hidden alcohol; increasing bitterness, lingering, zesty, bitter, hoppy finish. Oily-watery texture, smooth, soft, silky palate, very fine and soft carbonation. Immensely bitter but still in balance, surprisingly light and drinkable - good.

50cl Bottle from Bierhut. Amber colour, off-white head. Aroma is earthy, resinous, hoppy, malts, floral, orange marmalade, reminded me a bit of the early Scandi DIPA's from Nogne and Midtfyns. Flavour is sweet, malty, marmalade, earthy, floral, resin, hint of lemon peel, firm bitterness. Medium to full bodied. Tasty stuff.
