Let me sum it up as a one dimensional . Artificial grapefruit taste with no complexity. Slow drinking and a bit of an insult to my palate.

On tap at Hangar on the wharf.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking hazy orange color with a thin white foamy head that dissipated to nothing. It didn’t leave any lacing.
The smell had the grapefruit in a sweet yet stingingly sharp accent. A light sugary touch graced the aroma as it warmed.
The taste was swe and sharp with no aftertaste but a sharp quick finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a heavy carbonation about it.
Overall, everything started off okay until I let it roll over my tongue. I didn’t care for the mouthfeel, it seemed overly carbonated.

Draft sampled at old chicago. From notes. Lemon, grapefruit and wheat notes. Nice and refreshing, not too sticky or sweet.

This should be called Illusive Travlr. 12 ounce bottle. Pours a murky orange with a thin frothy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of grapefruit juice and maybe some malt if you really look for it. The taste is pale malt, grapefruit, grapefruit zest, sugared citrus. Thin-medium bodied.

Sampled from a 12 oz bottle this beer poured a fizzy hazy yellow color with a small soapy white head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was sweet grapefruit soda. The flavor was sweet grapefruit soda. Medium length finish. Light body. Tasty but not very beer like.
