Bottle. Of all the hard root beers out there, this is the worst one. It does have a root beer aroma and taste but it’s not really that good.

16oz can pours out a root Beer color brown topped with a fizzy head. Nose is big root Beer sweetness and more spice. Taste is more of the very sweet root Beer flavor with a little odd after taste.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy dark brown, small tan head. Aroma is herbal, mynthe. Sweet, mynthe, herbal. Lingering sweet and dense mynthe finish.

Poured into a mug, the appearance was a dark brown color with no head nor lace.
The aroma had sweet root beer qualities and artificial vanilla.
The flavor was overly sweet with a horrible aftertaste of pure root beer sugary portions. Finish was appalling.
The palate was light bodied with a prickly carbonation. ABV felt fine.
Overall, seemed more like regular rootbeer. Was this supposed to be considered beer? Maybe one of those alco-pops. Oh wait, I don’t think we’re supposed to rate that on this site. I don’t know, whatever. Tickers gotta tick.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this drink poured a very dark brown color with red highlights and a medium foamy brown head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was sweet root beer and birch beer. The flavor was off with artificial sugar, root beer and birch beer. Long finish. Medium body. Meh

Bottle. Vanilla, wintergreen, and sassafras aroma. Dark chestnut brown with moderate but short-lasting head. Very sweet vanilla, sassafras, and wintergreen flavor. Low carbonation. Flat root beer isn’t so great.

12oz bottle thanks to my son
Pours clear cola, no head or lacing. Aroma is licorice, sweet root beer. Flavor is the same, the alcohol is there but isn’t dominent
Reminds me of a root beer hard candy.

12oz bottle. Shared at the March DC Tasting. Poured a dark brown, cola color, like all the rest. Visually, there’s a little less carbonation than regular root beer, but they pretty much nailed the look. Aroma was heavy on sarsaparilla, birch, vanilla. A touch more than medicinal. Vanilla notes, birch. Relatively drinkable, but I’d rather grab Coney Island or Not Your Father’s if I had the choice. It’s beer, but it’s not *beer*.
