Double Mashed Imperial Stout made with Carrots, Vanilla, and Cinnamon
Aged in Bourbon Barrels

For this massive Imperial Stout, we combined the recipes from our coveted ‘Beer Geek Vanilla Shake’ and an MKSD favorite ‘Traeblod’ to create something very special. Brewed solely with the first-runnings from each recipe, and then boiled for over 8 hours, we developed an incredibly complex caramelization and rich character; this is truly a special treat.

Aged in Buffalo Trace Barrels for over a year, LifeBlod Carrot Cake has layers of sweet vanilla frosting, warming cinnamon, and of course notes of mild and sweet earthiness from the real carrots used to make this brew. A thick and rich body with a light carbonation really brings the tasting experience together. It truly is dessert in a glass!
