From a growler. Poured a dark brown color with a small tan head. Aroma was some light chili notes, light roasted malts. Very minor hot pepper burn on the finish. Light sweetness, drinkable.

Growler at the DC March Tasting, thanks Gene! Dark brownish with beige head. Aromas of chocolate, cocoa, caramel, toffee. Tastes of chocolate, cocoa, subtle peppers, caramel, malt. Medium body with a dry finish. Needs more heat if you’re going to put habanero in the name.

Draft at the source. Hazy brown color, fluffy tan head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pepper flesh and chocolate brownies. Taste has peppers up front, cocoa, coffee and decent heat. Vey tasty.
