An enormous American Imperial Stout that has been finished in the initial maturation French oak Pinot Noir barrels from Bellarine's Oak Series. The nose is drawn in by captivating aromas of cacao nibs, vanilla and fruity coffee crema. The beer lands on the palate in an avalanche of supple richness but, in strict defiance of the vertiginous alcohol level, it is exceptionally well balanced. The deep-set sweet toasted oak and chocolatey flavours linger, demanding another sip.
