Our next bourbon barrel aged beer is an imperial oatmeal stout that spent 14 months in a Barrel 21 barrel. The barrel previously held bourbon, maple syrup and whiskey. After 14 months we decided to add a healthy dose of coffee beans and cacao nibs to help enhance the richness and flavor of the beer. It's a true treat for fans of the style.

Black with a small brown head. Toasty with strong coconut and whiskey and a light cocoa undertone. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.
