Taste comprises fruit cake, slightly soured fruit edge, dates, plums, modest coffee beans, light spice. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying bitter sweet close. Decent for the style ... Brewers ... please dump more coffee in this whelming style !

Draft at Churchkey. Poured a nearly black color with a dark brown head. Aroma was like coffee, chocolate. Dubbel is subtle, coffee dominates. Light bitter chocolates. Very nice.

Bottle @ home, thanks to jcnielsen for sending! Pours a reddish brown appearance with a thin brown head. Aroma has cola, burnt sugar, caramel, chocolate, and sweet candy. Not as a sweet as expected - moderate to moderate high sweetness. Some woody / herbal notes. Pretty low bitterness. A little syrupy. Ok. Nothing special.
