A traditional shandy is beer mixed with a little something extra, like lemonade, soda or ginger ale. Leinenkugel's® Grapefruit Shandy is our take on this tradition. Each batch begins with our traditional weiss beer. We then combine it with natural white grapefruit flavor that adds a note of fresh-cut citrus, because here refreshment is our greatest natural resource.

Aromas are real nice natural, fresh grapefruit with a little malt. Flavors are similar to nose but a little washed out with mild sweetness and a little bitter in the finish. Okay body and carbonation.

Bottle. Cloudy, gold color with just a slight hint of a pinkish tint. Medium head. Aroma was a funky, grapefruit smell. Taste was like cheap beer and grapefruit juice.

is it possible to be too carbonated? or too sweet? this is a good beer, but there is just too... too much something.

12oz can because Radagast83 has no class. Pours a hazy, straw yellow with some very frothy, white head. Nose is fresh grapefruit, zesty, a little armpit too. Flavor is watery, weird soda. Bad. Just bad.

From a 12 oz. can shared at the December 2018 RB gathering. Pours a clear pale gold with a white head. Aromas of grapefruit and lime. Flavors are sweet white sugar.

Fairly thin until a bad grapefruit gone wrong taste kicks in. Hazy yellow with ok head. Watery and a little wrong.

12 oz. bottle. Well, yeah. A grapefruit radler. Not bad for what it is. Plenty more grapefruit in the taste than anything else, and it tastes like actual squeezed grapefruit than some grapefruit "cocktail." Okay for this hot summer evening.

Pours hazy amber with a thick head. Strong grapefruit aroma. Taste of witbier and grapefruit. Plate is similar to the taste, more diverse citrus elements. Very light and drinkable.
