Bottle @ home, picked up at Wilbur’s in a mixer sixer. Pours a cloudy, light yellow appearance with a white head. The aroma is overpoweringly full of grapefruit which kind gives off a dank note. Lots of citrus. High carbonation. Somewhat sweet. Moderately low bitterness. It doesn’t come any more one-dimensional than this one. All I can get is bright grapefruit, some honey, and some lemon. Kind of refreshing but really, the grapefruit flavor just isn’t that appealing to me. Just tastes like juice and not even that good of juice.

Bottle: Hazy, pale yellow with a large white head. Aroma is sharply, purely grapefruit juice. Taste is grapefruit, softened a great deal by creamy wheat malt, ginger ale...Not bad.....light and refreshing...I just wish the taste matched the sharpness of the scent.... Develops a weak grapefruit-peel bitter at the end...... Falls a little flat.

Bottle. A- Grapefruit juice. A- Light yellow color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Grapefruit, subtle honey. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, weak slighty bitter finish. O- Leinenkugels and shandys apart are both very hit or miss for me, however I loved their Orange Shandy. I also love grapefruit therefore I chanced this one and thought it might be pretty good. Smelling this beer is just like grapefruit juice and even looked like fresh squeezed grapefruit so I made my assumptions it would be great. Sadly the taste fell through. Tasted like grapefruit juice that has been sitting out too long and just lost a lot of flavor and has very little bitterness. Could have been a lot better, but wasn’t awful. I’d drink it on a hot day.
