A rip-roaring golden IPA, super aromas of lime and peach descend to a palate that bursts with fat new world hops and finished by a burly prolonged bitterness.

Cask at Shrewsbury Arms, Stafford. Pours golden yellow with a small foamy almost white head and good lacing. There’s citrus, summer fruits and malts in the aroma. In the mouth it behaves somewhat strangely. It starts off quite sweet and juicy with a creamy texture, and flavours of malts, honey, lime and stone fruits. Then after a while some bitterness and floral hops come through and build until they dominate. Finish is slightly dry. A bit unusual but this is quite decent.
