Bottle shared at a tasting at Max’s place. Clear golden. Aroma of grapefruit, stale hops. Sourish and bitter flavor with grapefruit, a bit sweetish, graininess, and slightly stale hops. Medium-bodied. Not fresh enough but still alright.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a vibrant golden color with a huge foamy orange-white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweetish and a bit tart with notes of orange, agave, a bit of pepper and yeast. The flavor was tart and a bit chalky with notes of lemon, orange, agave, pepper and yeast. Medium length finish. Medium body. Decent.

Bottle hazy golden with coarse full white head. Light grainy aroma, bright crisp citrusy hop aroma and flavor. Quite dry and tasty.

Pours pale yellow into a shaker. White head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Sweetened grapefruit aromas. Soft with sweet caramel and agave upfront turning to sharp grapefruit in the lasting finish.

Pour is a hazy golden with a large white head. Aroma is a fresh cut citrus rind with some sweet syurp which I guess is the agave. Flavor is bitter and tart with no hops showing up through the bitterness of the grapefruit juice used. This really did not do much for me. Too much of the adjuncts and not enough of the hops.

This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a mostly clear yellow color with a light carbonation seen rising at a moderate pace. Head dissipates immediately. Lacing legs around the glass.
The smell takes mangoes and grapefruit pulp and rind up front and then as it warms. The agave settles in decently.
The taste was mainly juicy sweet throughthe mangoes and agave. Grapefruit sits back a bit more. Semi-sweet to bitter syrupy aftertaste leads into a sticky sweet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation runs light. Sharp bitterness hits my tongue adequately.
Overall, it’s a decent effort. Nothing over the top but does the trick. Might be willing to come back to in the warmer months.

Bottle. Grapefruit juice, biscuit malt, and grapefruit peel flavor. Golden yellow with moderate head. Sweet agave, grapefruit, light malt, and moderately bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Decent body. Not sure what agave syrup added other than a bit of additional sweetness.

Tap at Victory. Filtered yellow-tan-orange. body. Glass lacing white head. The agave gives it a creamier feel, sort of like it was unfiltered. Pretty unique, drinkable.

12oz bottle pours with a crystal clear pale gold body that supports a thin white head. The aroma offers up a blend of spicy sort of minerals, crystal like malts (maybe), a yeasty sensation and then vague spicy yeasty fruit like hoppiness. It has this Shipyard house yeast aroma Ringworm yeast or something er other. The taste delivers some citrus and tropical fruity hop juiciness and bitterness. To midway the agave kind of bland sugary notes surface with slivers of yeasty spices and some biscuit like malts. Interesting.
