Bolo is a 4.4% ABV session-style, kettle soured ale, utilizing Mosaic & Amarillo hops in the boil and dry-hopped in the fermentor. Wheat and Pilsner malts lend light biscuit & hay notes to this beer, laying the foundation for the balanced hop flavors of Mosaic & Amarillo. Notes of white peach, citrusy lemon, and dry earthy funk round out this perfectly delicate little sour ale.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a slightly hazy pale yellow color with a medium sized foamy white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was sourish with notes of cardboard and phenol. The flavor was sour and tart with vinegar, wheat, yeastiness and a lactic note. Long finish. Medium body. ok.
