Keg at the brewery, 9/11/23. Black, thin tan head, good retention. Aroma of roast and chocolate. Taste is roast, chocolate, vanilla, raisin, coffee. Slick.

Pours black with a medium sized tan head, some lacing. Roasted malts, chocolate, ashy and coffee

Draught at The Local, Bellingham, WA, as Backwoods Nitro Stout, 6.2% ABV
Black color. Creamy and milky, soft, with light roasted malts and roasted nuts.
Simple.
Nitro kills !!?

Bomber from Uptown Market. Pours a dark brown color with a small white head. A nice soft chocolate and coffee nose. Mild lactose, chocolate, sweet bready malts, some light coffee. A solid middle ABV stout. Very drinkable. Would be much better on cask.

Draught @ Gastropuben KICK Malt & Mat, Kristiansand
Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, milk chocolate, caramel, lactose, coffee and hint of licorice. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long roasted, milk chocolate and caramel finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Kick 290116. Red dark brown colour with a beige head. aroma is sourness, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate. Flavour is sourness, roasted malt, hop, coffee, chocolate, dried fruits. Nice/OK beer.

On Tap at PreFunk Boise Black with a small but dense and lasting tan head. Big chocolate soft roast aroma and flavor. Smooth and mellow but still very roasty. Lacking that sharp astringent dark roast bite. Full smooth and rich. Modestly hopped. Very pleasant.

Draft at AK BW fest 2016. Opaque black color, tan head. Very roasty burnt toast aroma. Taste is bright burnt espresso. Nice.

On tap at Kick. A dark reddish brown beer with a minimal sized beige head. It’s lightly sour on the nose, with dried fruits, cocoa and a faint woody touch. Roasted malts, cocoa, lactose, cold coffee, prunes, some juniper berries and licorice in the flavor. Full body and a soft carbonation, quite dry, with a lasting licorice dominated finish. Nice indeed. 160123

On tap at prefunk. Pours out black topped with a tan ring of a head. nose is roast malts some pit fruit and a chocolate milk. Taste is more roast malts some rich malts and a little smoke ashtray note.
