On tap at the brewery. Dark golden with a small white head. Aroma and taste of malt, yeast, light spices and some fruit. Quite soft.

Draft at the source. Crystal clear golden color, thick cream colored head with good retention. Aroma of spiced bread dough. Taste has big coriander, light funk. Nice.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits hazy deep gold body that supports a white head that leaves behind some spotty lacing. The aroma offers up fruity esters like apple, raisin, pear and a sliver of banana to go along with yeasty spiciness. The taste has some sweetness but that’s balanced by a nice punchy saison spiciness. I get some apple, a thin banana note, sweet raisin and then a load of smooth yet firm spices. Pretty darn nice for a US brewed saison as the spices aren’t too bright and add a counterpoint to the sweetness to a certain extent. But this is an all too typical too sweet and too heavy offering just like almost all US brewed saisons, sadly
