Poured up via nitro at the brewpub where it exhibits a deep dark body that supports a creamy tan head. The aroma offers up maple, chocolate and dark roasty malts and a faint sense of sweet maple. The taste delivers smooth dark roasted malts leading into maple soaked burnt to nearly charred notes. Wow. The burnt malts and maple are going well together as they pull your palate in different directions. It gets even more maple to midway and into the finish. Solid stuff. Solid.
