Draft at the source. Clear deep ruby maroon color, tan head. Aroma of bitter chocolate, fruity coffee. Taste has dark fruit, soft roast. Light body, easy drinking.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a deep dark mahogany colored body that supports a tan head. The aroma offers up an inviting array of roasted maltiness from chocolate malts to burnt malts and then a bit of caramel like malts. The taste delivers dark roasted malts to burnt malts and then it sweetens some with some sweet malts and caramel malts. It gets a little sweet nuttiness that makes it’s way to the surface to midway creating some balance against the dark roastiness. Nice roasty porter at 5% as there’s plenty of body going on too.
