A special version of Tumeaine made in collaboration with Kokomo Coffee Roasters using Costa rica La Pastora coffee.
The aroma reveals notes of sweet chocolate, toffee, and coffee liqueur. Palate has a silky, full-bodied character with a fine balance between roast and sweetness. Intense notes of chocolate, coffee, nuts and cocoa come through, followed by a finish of berry-like tannins and malty roast. A luxurious, velvety and flavor-packed imperial stout.

33cl can from Sip, Tallinn. Pours close to pitch black with a fairly modest, tanned head. Freshly roasted coffee, dark chocolate and roasted malt is dominating. Sweet, smooth and flavourful, but quite balanced and certainly enjoyable. Delicious sipper!

On tap a Pühaste Taproom Tallinn, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma has a nutty coffee character, with medium roast, and some caramelized brown sugar. Flavour is fairly rich, with dark coffee, medium roast, medium-to-heavy sweetness, and brown sugar. Not as bold or complex as, say, Speedway or similar calibre coffee imperials, but this is well-made.

From tap @ Meetnica. Head is thin, tanned, quick gone. Colour is dark, opaque. Aroma is rich dark Malta, roasted tones, coffee, dark chocolate. Taste is full malty base, light roasted tones, coffee, cocoa, nutty, caramel, bit herbal, decent bitterness, vinous touch, ok yet not great.

200ml draught at Pühaste Taproom Tallinn. Shared with Finn. Scattered lacing, bare naked black surface, coal black body. Attractive on the nose with coffee-chocolate, smoothly roasted. Nutty chocolate flavours, supported by black coffee. Long-lived, dark malty ending, coffee and chocolate with a note of warming alcohol. Full bodied. Decent sipper qualities. (Tallinn, 05.11.2025).
