Coastal Thicket - Raspberry and Sea Salt Tart Ale - 4.5%

Inspired by the German Gose sour ale style. We brewed this beer with a pale malt base and added Kentish hops, cracked coriander seeds and sea salt during the boil. We then blended the wort with 100kgs of fresh Kentish raspberry puree before fermenting with Philly Sour yeast.

The result is an ultra fresh tasting, tart fruit beer with lip smacking flavours of raspberry jam on freshly baked white bread. This then gives way to more subtle floral notes of raspberry yogurt and fresh herbs before ending with the distinctive salinity typical of the style.
