Poured up on tap at SanTan with garnet body and off white head leaving behind some spotty lacing. The aroma offers up earthy wet tobacco, roasted maltiness and some chocolate malts. The taste begins with big earthy malts and then some malt roastiness before an earthy chocolate note develops. To midway and into the finish a mix of sweet nuttiness and sweet dark fruity esters join in the fun but the sweetness struggles against the malty notes. This has a big earthy near oxidized chocolate sort of sensation that you’ll likely need to be in the mood for.
