Roman Candle was the first IPA we ever brewed, and today, almost 14 years later, we're bringing you a version that doubles the fun—without the risk of pyrotechnics.
Double Roman Candle is a DIPA that shines with the same bright, citrusy character as its more laid-back sibling, just with a bigger bang (8.6% ABV, to be exact.).
Balanced and shockingly approachable, this can of Double RoCan has notes of juicy melon and orange peel.

Fruity hoppy, piney and slightly resinous with some melon, grapefruit and orange peel, hints of citrus, grass and herbal hoppiness. A nice mix of old skool and new skool

On tap at Bellwoods, pours a cloudy orangey yellow with a small white head. Aroma is full of hopburn and allium galore—about as bad as a hazy can smell. Flavour is thankfully better, with tropical fruits, stone fruit pith, allium and a touch of hopburn. Not egregious but has no qualities I like in a hazy, let alone an IPA.
