Each beer in our “Story of Winegrowers” series is a liquid expression of a winemaker’s style, their terrain, and their philosophy. As brewers and blenders, we consciously step back so that their character takes the stage. Take Chris Barth, based in Rheinhessen (Alzey), Germany. His seven hectares of vineyard are biodynamic certified and he’s known as a pioneer in regenerative, low-intervention viticulture. We re-fermented with his Sauvignon Blanc pomace — not just for flavor, but to channel his vision. The beer becomes more than a recipe: it’s a collaboration. His vineyard’s character — mineral soils, native yeasts, and restrained intervention — flows through our fermentation. Limited release.

Bottle sampled at Billies. Clear golden. Spicy and funky, soft zesty, sour wheat, kiwi, star fruit. Very vineous. Medium sweet, less sour. Over medium bodied. Yum.
