This Belgian ale defies expectations with it's rich coffee and chocolate flavours, reminiscent of a stout, yet lighter in appearance. Barrel-aged to perfection, it carries warming notes of oak and whisky, evoking the cozy flavours of christmas treats. A festive surprise in every sip, perfect for holiday celebrations.

Can. A typical strong Belgian pale ale, with some coffee and a hint of dark chocolate. Mocha. Sweet. Light bitterness. Fruity, lightly herbal. Interesting, quite nice too. 747414

330ml can from Vinmonopolet City Nord. Bright amber-gold body, tiny white head, poor lacing. Hints of grass and pale malts on the nose. Strange kind og taste, notes of yeasty fruits and pale malts. Without any traces of coffee or cacao. Short lived finish. Quite possible to drink, though (Bodø Panorama, 22.11.2025).
