This is our little Pie Star out of the group (it's a thing we made up, just go with it). Our brewer outdid himself. This dark delicious craft beer gets all the attention and rightfully so. A traditional Brown Porter brewed with fresh cherries and Madagascar vanilla beans, the Piehole is oozing with dark chocolate flavors and a sweet tempting aroma. It tastes like yo momma's pie, only better. So shut up and just put it in your piehole!

32oz growler pours with a clear deep amber mahogany colored body that supports a thin light tan head. The aroma offers up dark roasted malts, some chocolate, nuttiness and then a vanilla bean note at the end of the draw. The taste delivers mild dark roasted malts, bigger chocolate notes, a light nutty sensation and then a smooth vanilla sweetness. To midway and into the finish it picks up a mild hazelnut sort of coconut character wrapped around a thin sweet dark fruitiness. Pretty nice.

Draft. Deep maroon color, medium tan head. Aroma of roasty chocolate covered cherries. Taste is sweet but not too sweet, cocoa, fruit. Nice.

Growler thanks to Ilya! Pours a near clear deep amber brown with a taupe head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of chocolate with dark grains and backing vanilla. Flavor has much lighter chocolate, mainly slightly dark grains, cherry and vanilla.
