On tap at Trofeja, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma reveals earthy, muffled coffee and a strange spicy, herbaceousness. Flavour is likewise very muffled, with a confused, dirty coffee character, earthiness, and some roast. Bad base malts, bad coffee? Not sure which or both. Either way, quite a substandard coffee stout.

Draught, shared with Finn at the cool and lively Trofeja Taproom. Coal black body, decent fawn coloured head, spotty lacing. Modest earth malty aromas, not easy to spot the coffee time. Kind of milk coffee to the taste buds. Roasted earthy ending, distant bite of coffee. So and so. (Riga, 09.11.2025).
