Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Black, huge beige head. Aroma of salmiak and coffee. Artificially sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Husky with coffee and licorice. Sharp finish.

(Keg at Juova, 20251120) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, lactic sweetness and dark chocolate. Palate was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, lactic sweetness, chocolate, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste had burnt malts and bitterness. Good. Not too sweet.

On tap at Juova, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has dry bready notes, rye, and a touch of cocoa. Flavour is dry, with bready malt, rye, some roast, and cocoa. Just a touch of sweetness. Well-made.

Poured near black in color.
Thick layer of roasted malts, some cofffee sump, light ashy notes even. Nowhere milky sweet in flavor, possibly rounding of the edges, which suits me perfectly. Quaffable, superb stout!
