Dunkelweiss with a smokey twist. Brewed with Wheat, Caramunich and Rauch malts with a hint of roasted malt for color. Decoction mashed for added malt complexity. Hopped with Hersbrucker hops for a spicy/herbal finish. Open fermented with a blend of expressive yeast strains. The result is a classic dark wheat beer with notes of bubblegum, banana, caramel and breadcrust with a subtle smokey finish.
