Appearance is black, opaque, a small beige head. Aroma- chocolate, vanilla, toffee, coffee, roast malt, tiramisu, chocolate torte. Taste is chocolate cake, vanilla, caramel, tonka, biscuity malt, espresso, vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce, whiskey fudge. Sweet and rich but not too heavy, wouldn’t guess it was 14%.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Near clear dark brown beer, a small bubbly tan head doesn't last too long. Smooth palate, silky, reasonable fine carbonation, fine for the style. Smooth mellow dark malts but, delivering plenty of the promised cakey chocolate. The Amburana wood bring a light and smooth floral spice to proceedings. Airy smooth finish leaves a pleasing choco cake linger. There isn't a huge amount of complexity here but, it does what it does very well indeed.

Can from Kvickly Odder @ Home. Pours black with a small brown head, some sugary lacings. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, tonka, spices, vanilla. Flavor is sweet, mildly spiced, roast malt, caramel, chocolate, light tonka, spices, cocoa, vanilla, light alcohol. Medium body, soft carbonation, sweet light spiced finish. Smooth. 240226

330 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with moderate foamy head. Aromas of vanilla/tonka, amburana, chocolate, a bit of cake spice and slick roasted malts. Flavor follow same but with more spice. Warm finish. Most excellent.

Taste comprises chocolate, vanilla, spice, light roast, tonka tickle, toffee fudge.
Full bodied, oily feel, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost.
Solid decadent stuff.

330ml can. Pours very dark brown with a thin tan head. Aroma of chocolate, caramel, vanilla, slightly woody. Taste is sweet, milk chocolate, vanilla, caramel, woody notes, light bitter coffee roast. Medium bodied. Best of CCC 2025, still felt the lactose was unnecessary.
