In this limited edition variant, our Gingerbread Stout blends in perfect harmony with the cinnamon kissed oak staves of the apple brandy barrels in which it was matured. This barrel aged imperial milk stout crescendos with notes of honey, chocolate and fragrant cinnamon.

Bottle shared in London - sourced from MK. Pours black-brown with a small, foamy tan head. Great fun, notes of molasses, autumnal spices, a little cinnamon. Full bodied, oily, lightly chewy, fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, a bit sticky, lots of dark malts, toffee, more molasses and brown sugar, accents of dried fruits, nutmeg, toasted ginger. Great fun.

Level 6 bottleshare. Thanks to LKS. Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is pretty light, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth but slightly thin dark malts, mellow dark chocolate. Smooth apple brandy, ripe apple, not too much brandy spice. Mild calvados. Smooth and semi dry finish. Hides the abv very well but could deliver richer malts and body. Ginger a bit lost on me.

Draft at Lost & Found. Poured a pitch black color. Aroma was amazing apple brandy. Super smooth, slightly boozy, but not hot like I expected it would be. Apple. Smooth. Base is well masked here in this one.

Bottle shared at Lucky Bamboo GBS share. Thanks Matthew! Pours a pitch black with a finger of beige head that lingers. Dark chocolate and brandy aromas on the nose. Smooth with good chocolate cookie notes. Apple, ginger and brandy meld well on the finish. Super well integrated.

Bottle. Pours clear black, small tan head, dissipates quickly, some lacing. Aroma is cinnamon, brandy, ginger, cocoa, root beer. Flavor is medium sweet, light bitter. Better as it warms a bit. Medium body.
Rerate, tap, 2017. Better head and lacing. Richer aroma with more bitterness. Full body. Mulled Apple cider finish.
