After years of sharing stories over pints, our pals at Stigbergets made their way over from Gothenburg, Sweden to brew a beer with us. No Gods, No Masters is a pale lager with doughy pilsner malt, a touch of spelt and a heavy dose of Contessa hops. Green tea, melon, fresh rain.

Aromas are nicely balanced cut grass, lemon, wet grain. Flavors are similar to nose. Bittersweet up front with the pleasant bitter finish. Good body and carbonation. Very nice.

16 ounce can from Tavour. Straw gold pour is topped by a large, pillowy white head. Mild grainy malt aroma hints at lemon and cut grass. Flavor is more of the same. Grainy malt, fresh hay, lemon pith, peppery hops. Clean, crisp and bitter.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear gold with a large frothy white head. Aroma of green melon and bergamot. Med body. Bready but well towards dry. Nicely bitter. Flavor is heavily tea, but not Earl Grey. Alas, poor bergamot. Sort of leafy/earthy.

16oz can from Tavour. Clear golden body, thin, sturdy, tight white head. Big biscuity, grainy aroma right from the start. Taste is biscuity, crisp, with a fair amount of bitterness. Everything you'd expect in a lager, but amped up a bit.
