(Keg at Oluthuone Haka, 20251116) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, smoke and honey. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, honey, grain, smoke and bitterness. Aftertaste had smoke, grass and bitterness. A good brew with rather subtle smoke notes.

Poured clear and light golden in color.
Beachwood smoke nose, sweetish malty. Clean, but not that interesting, needs more smoke IMO.

On tap at Haka, pours a clear dark amber brown with a tiny beige head. Aroma brings out gently smoked malt and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is smoky, with plenty of smoked biscuity malt, straw, and some tanginess. Not close to the level of a Bamberg rauchbier but it’s decent.
