Our collaborative celebration of nature has been slowly, steadily carrying on in dark corners of dark rooms as River’s dark sequel has been resting, hibernating, marinating in boozy bourbon barrels. The rich, robust, earthy stout taking on the softer, rounder, gentler notes imbued by wood and whisky. And as with the original, freshly roasted coffee beans, Nicaraguan cacao nibs, toasted coconut flakes and Madagascar vanilla beans take it over the top. Sipping this is like drinking chocolate cake batter.
Tasting notes
Dark, thick, rich, velvety smooth, sweet up front with a hint of roast in the finish, aromas of warm vanilla, bourbon, fresh coffee, chocolate cake and a hint of coconut nuttiness.

Svart med lys brunt skum. Lukter mørk sjokolade, blomster og havre. Fyldig. Smaker mørk bitter sjokolade, noe salt lakris og blomster. Middels lang.

Burk inför julen med Totte. Doftar finemang alltså precis vad det står på burken!! Bourbon cacao cocos vanilj o kaffe.
Är alltid skeptisk när det står just kaffe. Men här tar inte kaffesmaken över på något sätt. Mjuk i munnen med små jäla bubblor! Balanserad rackare! God Bra gjort!!

440ml can, many thanks to Finn, Shared at a rating session with him and Lunde. A decent brownish head fading over a deep black body, scattered lacing. Attractive aromas of roasted coffee-chocolate, nicely roasted. Rich taste character of dark chocolate, ash, nuts and coffee. Long-lived finish of roasted dark malts joined by a warming bourbon bite. Full bodied. Lovely slow sipper. (Tromsø, 04.12.2025).

Sort med brunt skum som forsvinner fort. Aroma røsted malt kaffe sjokolade nøtter vanilje lakris. Smak røsted malt lakris eik kaffe vanilje melkesjokolade. Fyldig, smaksrik, søtlig, veldig god. Boks delt med Rune og Finn
