Draft at the Ho Chi Minh City brewpub. Poured a clear golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is buttery durian. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, fresh, durian, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Now there are two things that I dislike in beer, the first is tea and the second durian. I’m not supposed to like this been then, but in the case of this example, the flavour wasn’t subtle but it wasn’t overpowering either. It worked, but any more durian would have been too much.
