Keg at Leilani’s on the Beach, Kanapali, 26/04/14. Clear light golden with a moderate off white swirl. Nose is pale malts, clean tasting, citric tinges, grassy. Taste comprises light vanilla, citric zing, light bread dough, straw, trace of caramel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp clean close. So so affair, I didn’t come all the way to fucking Maui to tick golden fucking blondes, and boring ones at that!

Draught at Kona Brewing Company - KoKo Marina Pub, 5% ABV
Blond color, with compact head. The aroma is almost indifferent. The mouthfeel is weak and dry, with minimal crispy malt; ordinary bitterness, without hop qualities.
It could help the thirst in a warm climate, not much more.

Location: Draft at Duke's - Kaanapali, 7/9/12
Aroma: The nose has some light malts and not much else
Appearance: It pours a clear golden color without much head or lace
Flavor: The taste has a light sweet, malty flavor with minimal bitterness
Palate: The body is light and it has a soft feel, with average carbonation, and a clean finish
Overall Impression: This is a beach drinker for sure, but that makes sense considering the location and target market of the beer. This one works well enough for what it is trying to be.
