It’s bitter. It’s not good.

Can at the house in Jackson - picked up from the breeery. Pours clear orange-gold with a creamy, mostly white head. Light sweet flavour with that good-old pine-ripe citrus-caramel character, some grassy bitterness, lightly toasted malts. Light bodied with average carbonation. Decent balance to finish, more lightly toasted bready malts, nips of caramel, ripening orange, piney hops. Good old-school gear.

12 oz can brought back from Wyoming. Pours a hazy golden with a large white head. Light hoppy citrus/grassy aroma. Flavor has some nice grassy, citrus hops against a pale malt base with a medium bitterness. A solid one.

From old tasting notes. Bright copper color topped by a rocky beige head. Soft nutty malt aroma. Wonderfully smooth toaste malt flavor with a buttery character. Long dry hoppy finish.

Pours gold into the cup. The head is porous, white and fluffy. Aroma is melon, spruce. Taste is lightly bitter with dry finish. Body is light. Rating by memory: drank in back country under steady onslaught of mosquitoes.

Sample 5/8 at Snake River Brewing Co., Jackson. Clear dark golden with a thin, off-white head. The aroma contains hops, malt, citrus and herbs. It tastes light sweet and medium bitter with a dry, crisp finish. LIght body, watery texture, lively carbonation. A beer that’s out of focus.
