Snake River Pale is an American pale ale. Golden in color, it is brewed with domestic malt and plenty of Cascade and Columbus hops. Dry-hopped with even more Cascades. It has a citrusy hop flavor which is followed by a crisp, firmly bitter finish.

12 ounce can from Brennan’s Brookfield. Hazy golden, large foamy white head, good retention. Weak aroma. Some earthy hops. Taste is pale malt, mild grain, caramel, leafy hops. Thin, mild lingering bitterness. This was packaged last November (bought last Thursday). Seems to have faded a bit.

For a simple pale ale - this is a fine beer. Nothing crazy, but smooth and well balanced. Good

Can at the main DC December gathering. Poured a golden yellow color with a small off-white head. Aroma was light citrus hops, with plenty of caramel notes, earthy finish. Light sweet malts, touch of very light floral notes.

Ha! It showed up in town, along with the Pako’s Eye-P-A, today at 2nd Street Liquors, best by 9/18/11 that’s a sticker on the 6 pack carrier and not anywhere on the can.
It pours a light gold with a 1 finger head of foam and some lacing.
A lightish nose, as usual, for the beer. Some light hop bitterness, not much else.
The taste has some good hop character; bit of grass, some pine, the malt is on the sweetish side with some noticeable notes of grain. The freshest sample of the beer I’ve had in a long time other than the draught I’ve had at the local Old Chicago. I’d consider it a good "gateway" beer for the craft beer noobie. The taste is just too smooth to spark any oohs and ahhs from experienced drinkers. Not that that is a bad thing.

Thanks to Chris for bringing this can over! Nice floral and slightly sweetish nose. The beer starts smooth, floral with a nice smooth grainy body. Easy to drink, fresh. The aftertaste is floral-fresh, hints of grain, hints of malt. Not too deep in body, but nice floral bittered. Nice stuff!
