High in the winter sky, two parallel stick figures are visible & known as "the twins" or the constellation Gemini. The astronauts of the 1960s flew as teams of two in a program named after the celestial pairing. At Southern Tier, we have our own fraternal twins, Hoppe & Unearthly. Blended together & placed in this vessel, the mission of our Gemini is to travel high & take passengers on a journey far into the heavens!

Simple ipa hop aroma. Some leather in thar. Certainly is high hopped, no doubt. Lots of hops, wew. Hop impressions begin to kick some ass as the session continues. Big bitter finish.

22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out resinous hops, some caramel and bready notes - not overly cohesive, but pleasant. Flavour is quite chewy, with resinous and spicy hops, and bready malt to back. Well-balanced and cohesive. Nothing mind-blowing, but it's well-integrated. Very good.

This was poured into a snifter.
The appearance was a semi-hazy bronzed color with a light transparency about it. Carbonation could be seen rising at a moderate pace. A one finger white foamy head started and dissipated leaving messy lacing running all over the place.
The smell starts off with a sticky resinous sharp sprucy/piney-ness that lingers over some light caramel malts.
The taste balances nicely between the caramel malts and the bitter sprucy/piney-ness. It leaves a nice dry sprucy/caramel aftertaste leading into a light dry piney finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Carbonation runs nicely to allow a nice bitterness to invade and become what its supposed to be for this beer and style.
Overall, this was a well worthy DIPA I’d have again.

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run. Pours a hazy golden with a medium sized fizzy tan head. Fair head retention. Aroma of earth, citrus, candied citrus, tropical fruits, caramel malt. The taste is bitter hops... citrus, candied citrus and tropical fruits, some honey, pale malt and caramel. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness. Solid.

12 ounce bottle. Brassy orange color topped by a fluffy beige head about a finger high. Big resiny pine hop nose. Bittersweet toasted malt flavor has a big spicy, grapefruit peel and burnt butter backdrop. All bitter, all of the time with an obvious alcohol prescence. Finish is dry with lots of black pepper.
