High in the winter sky, two parallel stick figures are visible & known as "the twins" or the constellation Gemini. The astronauts of the 1960s flew as teams of two in a program named after the celestial pairing. At Southern Tier, we have our own fraternal twins, Hoppe & Unearthly. Blended together & placed in this vessel, the mission of our Gemini is to travel high & take passengers on a journey far into the heavens!

Hazy orange amber beer, decent pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth malts, sweet caramel. Sweetish piney hops. Light hop spice. Touch of ripe orange marmalade. Spicy orange, Smooth finish. Spicy linger. Most disappointing, Initially I thought this must be an old bottle but there is enough hop markers here to indicate that is not that case. Sweetish and disjointed.

Rich honeycomb, caramel, oak, and pineapple nose, fabulous! Clear amber, medium yellow head, good lacing. Honey and lemon, grass finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation.

Bottle from my brother. Nice hop aroma leads into much deeper, robust taste. Fruity, slick, nice slippery body. Very smooth for a DIPA.

$6.99 Bomber from Market Street Wine Shop uptown. Pours a pretty peach color, hazy with a nice beige head. Aroma of sweet citrus and toasted malt. Taste is thick citrus, floral hops, roasted malt, pine. Bittersweet.

Tasting at Matt’s
Hazy light amber color, small head. Lean body; pretty good, but the malt is not very deScriptive, the hops are a bit resiny and fruity but also nothing special. Good without being excellent.
