Pours deep mahogany into a snifter. Mocha head with little retention recedes to mottle surface. Rubber band and smoke aromas. Thick with bacon and smoke front to back turning dry and thin in the lasting toasted pit fruit finish.

Bouteille 33cl, BB 05/2014. Props for the cool retro label, I dig the design.

On tap at Borefts 2012, Bodegraven. Pours dark brown with a fine cream head. Sturdy peat aroma with soft roast. Medium sweet flavor, some char, peat, light chocolate, some roast. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately sweet finish with a bit more peat, nice smoke, burnt caramel and toast. Quite a smooth drinker.

Bottled. A dark brown beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of smoke and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of smoke, ashes, roasted malt, and straw, leading to a dry chocolaty finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
