Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours an opaque black with an off-white head. Heavy, rubbery smoke aroma. Medium body, roasty malt with some ashes, but the heavy greasy smoke dominate this. Roasty bitterness. I don’t like heavy smoke in my beers. 160912

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is tarish and smoked, light plastic. Bitter, light sweet and caramelish. Bitter, smoked and light malty flavoured. Dry smoked finish.

Bottle 330ml.Clear light dark black brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, burnt, chocolate, meat, smoke. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, smoke, chocolate, roasted, malt bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120623]

Dark brown color, with a huge brownish head, too much. Aroma of chocolate, light roasted malt, very light yeast, and a metallic touch. Dry mouthfeel; dark chocolate flavor, with more liquorice than smoke; a bit salty; ordinary bitterness. A Stout, maybe.

Bottle. A more or less clear one, brown in color and with a small, dense, light beige head. Pleasant smoke aroma with roasted malts, some coffee and a touch of dried fruits. A bit simple maybe, but sure good. The same goes for the flavor, it lacks a bit on depth, but it’s tasteful and well balanced. Smoked malts, roasted malts and some dried fruits. Dry, medium to full bodied and pleasantly carbonated. Lasting smoked finish. Sure a surprise from France this one. 120623

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are rich smoke, caramel, tar, notes of bacon and hops.
