More than Double-Hopped With Citra.
Supersonic is a double-hopped, Double India Pale Ale. With the amount of Citra hops used, expect some seriously tropical flavours in this can

Tap @ Fermentoren, Aarhus. Pours hazy dark orange with a small white head. Aromas of sweet fruits, malt, light dank hops, guava, pineapple. Taste is sweet, malty, some caramel, pineapple, mango, citrus. Bit of a letdown.

Can, 3 days past bb. Opaque brownish orange with a white head. 3- Aroma of oranges, lime leaf, crackers, some savoury herbs but nothing too intrusive. Sweet and juicy with lots of mellow citrus, some herbal, earthy and bitter notes keeping things from getting cloying. Good but doesn't really pop, perhaps due to age.

RB backlog. Orange jam, passion fruit, resin, mango, cereals, a hint of garlic. Low to medium sweetness, tart, mineralic, light to medium bitterness. Well balanced for the strength. Another good hazy IPA from Lervig.

Tap (Brygg, Oslo). Hazy, orange coloured with small white-grei head. Bomb od hops in aroma, a lot od citrus and tropical fruits. Malty in taste with medium to high, citrus bitterness, well done balanced, full body but light in feeling, dangerously drinkable. Overall very good IPA.

8 February 2019. Black Friday @ Dok, Ghent. Cheers to Anke! Pours hazy ochre with a lasting, thin, unstable, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of mandarin peel, mango, lime, ripe orange, yellow grapefruit, onion, yellow peach, carambola. Taste is medium fruity sweet, pure orange, peach & mandarin, soon mixing well with a medium hoppy bitterness that is still very fruity, notes of mandarin peel, mango, sourish lemon accent, oniony effect & a doughy undertone. Dry, floral, bit piney hoppy finish, lingering (bitter) fruit, dough & onion. Medium body, slick-creamy texture, fizzy carbonation. Very assertive DIPA, not the smoothest of drinks but its craft stands out.

Hazy (double) IPA by what is likely the best present-day craft brewer in Norway, tasted from tap at Dok Brewing Company in Ghent. Snow white, mousy, fluffy head, bit irregular, opening in the middle; cloudy peach blonde colour with warmer orange hue. Aroma quite dank, lots of moldy oranges, overripe onion, peach, papaja flesh, dough, rainwater, starfruit, kiwi, hint of sweat. Fruity onset with overripe mango, peach and rambutan effects, softish carb, supple, full and fluffy mouthfeel; doughy white-bready and lightly biscuity malt sweet body drenched in aromatic hoppiness involving a lot of mango, orange, lychee and kiwi but also something pond water- and sweat-like; bitterness is mildly spicy, but enhanced a bit by warming ‘end alcohol’. Typical modern New England style DIPA, nothing wrong with it, if it would have been better if a bit less dank and pond water-like in the nose (at least for me).
