More than Double-Hopped With Citra. Supersonic is a double-hopped, Double India Pale Ale. With the amount of Citra hops used, expect some seriously tropical flavours in this can

Super good. If this was the only beer I had tonight, 4.5, but doesn't quite compare to the other Lervigs...

Hazy orange colour, creamy beige/orange foam. Sweet nose of papaya, passion fruit, mango. Taste is very fruity, sweet, resinous. Not a very bitter finish.

Pours hazy orange with little head. Aroma is fruity, malty, bittersweet, herbal. Rich and malty. Big body, heavy body. Great balance, nice malty body with somewhat bitter hops, mostly herbal and hoppy. Works really well, balanced flavours. Amazing IPA.

On tap at Tiny Rebel Newport. Hazy pale golden colour with a white head. Aroma has tropical fruit, citrus, peach and pine. Taste light sweet but quite dry to finish. Full body.

On tap at Gulating Pub, Stavanger. An unclear orange colored beer with a dense, finger-thick off-white head. Piney, grapefruity aroma with a light maltyness giving some impressions of sweetness. It’s a bit sweet on the palate perhaps, but it’s a DIPA and it has a nice bitterness so who am I to complain? Piney, grapefruity flavor too, with lightly sweet pale malt flavor in the back. It’s full-bodied, nicely carbonated and with a light alcohol warmth and a lasting finish. Overall, a bit sweeter than I’d prefer, but with lots of other delicious flavors and aroma, so in general it’s a pleasant beer indeed. 171020
