On tap at bowsers. Very good from the start, I was impressed by its civility. Nice white beer. Some fruit like orange candy aroma. First taste is a beer with lots of orange in there, surprised its not mentioned in the description. Good cutting co2. Goes down really easy. Quite pleasant. I always get well behaved beers from shiner and this is no exception.

Sweetish coriander soup. Light spicy finish and a hit of sugary malt. Not bad, actually, for a macro wit, but nothing to make it stand out either.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, no bottle dating. Pours hazy golden yellow color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, light banana, coriander, clove, wheat, cracker, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and pale malt notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, light banana, coriander, clove, wheat, cracker, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal bitterness/yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, light banana, coriander, clove, wheat, cracker, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and pale malt flavors; with a great malt/yeast/spice balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and fairly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.7%. Overall this is a very nice witbier style. All around good robustness, complexity, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and pale malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Sample at 69 Taps. Cloudy straw color with a medium thin bright white head that recedes steadily. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of herbs, wheat and malt. Light-bodied with an herbal wheat character and notes of fruit and malt. The finish is mildly spicy coriander with a short wheaty aftertaste. Average overall.

12oz draft at Drafting Table in DC. Poured a hazy, vibrant yellow color with a large foamy white head. Aroma was lots of lemon notes, some zest, lemon juice. Coriander. Flavor was similar too, lots of coriander, lemon. Nothing super special, but refreshing enough I guess.

Bottle. Wheat malt and very light coriander aroma. Very close to clear gold with a large white head. Sweet wheat malt, lemon, and coriander flavor. Medium body, soft carbonation.

12oz bottle, screw-top. It’s a pale yellow 1 finger head but with a vigorous pour. Split 3 ways. Nose is mildly herbal, a bit of honey, peppercorn and walnuts. Maybe some orange as well. Thin mouthfeel. nice yeasty taste but not crazy close to a standard Witbier. Lots of bitter orange, some more nutty taste. Decent overall.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a weizen glass. Hazy golden with small white head. Aroma is tangy ripe orange, medium body, medium/light carbonation, and good small-bubble lacing. Taste is fairly nice orange with hints of coriander.

Pours clear gold into a shaker...uh oh. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving soapy lacing. Grass aromas. Sharp and dry with sweet yeast and caramel front to back. Doesn’t taste bad, but fails on all other wit style points...
